Ancka (Anne) Ziolkowski

Hi, I'm Anne (Ancka) and I've been here at the dental office for 19 years!  I came to the office many years ago from working at Marquette University School of Dentistry.  I began at the office as an accounts receivable manager and was promoted to office manager.  After several years "love blossomed" and I became Mrs. Ziolkowski and shortly thereafter became a mother.  Since that time I stepped down as office manager and continue to work part-time as Maria's right-hand woman.

During that span of time many changes have occurred at the office but several things remain constant.  We have a wonderful core of patients who have been part of our lives.  Many patients have grown up here and are now bringing their new families to our office.  My God, they certainly grow up quickly!  Secondly, we seem to be fortunate to have a great staff to take care of all those wonderful people.  It's a pleasure to work with such a group.  Last but not least, is Keith.  Not many people can enjoy working with their spouse but I love it and it really does work for us.

When I' m not at the office I'm a busy mom.  Blake is our 10 year old son who is extremely creative and talented.  Our 7 year old daughter, Remy is wise far beyond her years.  When we are able to, our family enjoys traveling.

Maria Sorce - Office Manager

I began my management career at Discovery World Museum and then eight years ago switched to dentistry.  I graduated Cardinal Stritch University with a degree in Theatre Management, got married, had two sweet little girls, and a few animals.  Our first daughter is Alyssa she is 5 years old and attends St. Mary's school.  Our second daughter, Isabella is 3 years old and loves sports. We also have one dalmatian named D.D., a bunny named Fluffy, and a cat named Miley.  I love spending time with my family, going to the theatre, and supporting Girl Scouts.  So as you can see Dentistry fits my life much better than theatre.  And quite frankly I love it here!

Dana Kahn, RDH - Hygienist

I have been a hygienist for five years.  I began my career in a periodontal office, which specializes in gum disease.  In July of 2006 I had the pleasure of joining Ziolkowski Dental.  It is great to spend my days working with such a kind and caring staff.  My true joy comes from interacting with patients and providing the best oral healthcare.  I also feel that it is very important to stay up-to-date with current technology and education.  I try to attend at least three continuing education courses each year.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  My 11 year old son, Jaden loves to skateboard and snowboard.  Frequently my fiance Ken and I will go to watch him.  I also enjoy my dogs and relaxing with a good book.

Cindy Grunst, RDH - Hygienist

I graduated from the Univerrsity of Minnesota in 1979, and have been practicing hygiene for 28 years, (since I was 12 years old!).  Some of those years where part-time as I was raising 4 boys.  I have been married to my husband, Dan for 29 years. When we are not working we enjoy riding our Harley.  I also enjoy reading, walking (with or without my dogs), swimming, and country music.

Eileen Nowak, RDH - Hygienist

I have worked for Dr. Ziolkowski for 10 years and have been in dentistry for 30 years altogether.  I started my career as a dental assistant for 19 of those 30 years.  I graduated from MATC and Marquette University (Go Warriors!) with an Associate's and a Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.  I am currently going to school (again) for Respiratory Therapy and I am anxiously awaiting graduation in May.  I used to work in the travel industry.  I LOVE to travel and can't wait to rack up those FF miles again.  I have a beautiful cat, Meggie, who is the latest addition in my life.  I guess I could say my hobbies are going to school (Ha!).  I enjoy most sports and look forward to summer Brewer games.  I love concerts and I won't try to count how many times I have seen Bon Jovi!

Our office is very relaxed.  A sense of humor is a must for staff and patients alike.  Most of our patients are like family and I always look forward to catching up with everyone every 6 months.....don't worry, I get your teeth cleaned too!

Mila Pritykina - Dental Assistant

Originally, I worked as an engineer of airplane instruments in my native homeland of Russia.  There I completed my Masters degree in Engineering.  After moving to the USA in 1994, I completed my dental assisting certificate from Concordia University.  I have worked for Dr. Z since 1999.  I love assisting, meeting new people and making patients feel comfortable.  I have three grown children and three lovely grandchildren who I visit as frequently as possible.

Amy - Oral Surgery Assistant

Amy is a life-long resident of the metropolitan Milwaukee area and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Madison.  In addition to her office oral surgery duties, she also works as an Operating Room Surgical Assistant.  An enthusiastic Wisconsin Badgers fan, she attends as many football and basketball games as time permits.  She is also a very talented artist, with an interest in design and advertising.
